Schedule a repeating transaction
Some payments come again and again, like rent, salary or a subscription. Enter them once. The app then adds each one on its day. A transaction with a future date is also scheduled, even if it does not repeat.
Steps
- Open Add Transaction with . Fill it in as usual.
- Tap Recurring and pick how often. The choices include Weekly, Monthly and Yearly.
- Set the Date to the next day it is due.
- Tap to save.
If the date is today or earlier, the app adds this one now. The next one is then scheduled.
On the due date
Open the app on or after the due date. The app then posts the transaction: it adds it to its account. A repeating transaction then moves to its next date.
The posted copy waits in your review list . Check that the amount is right. Before it is posted, a scheduled transaction does not change any balance.
Where to find them
- On Home, Upcoming shows the rest of this month. Tap a row or Show all to see the full list.
- On the Transactions tab, tap → Scheduled Transactions. Repeating ones show how often they repeat, like Monthly.
- The transaction list and each account also show them. Tap the scheduled section above the other rows to open it.
Change, post or stop
- Tap a scheduled transaction to change it. Changes count from the next date on. Rows that are already posted do not change.
- Want to pay early? Swipe the row to the right and tap Post. Or tap Post Now in the form. It gets today's date.
- To stop a repeating transaction, delete it. Rows that are already posted stay.
There is no button to skip one date. To skip one, open the transaction and change its Date to the next one.
