What the status dots mean
Every transaction has a small mark next to its amount. It shows how far the transaction is along: typed by you, confirmed by your bank, or locked when you reconcile. The mark moves no money. It only tells you what has been checked.
The four marks
- Uncleared: an outlined green circle. You entered the transaction, but the bank hasn't shown it yet.
- Cleared: a filled green dot with a check mark. Your bank already shows it. Imported rows arrive cleared.
- Reconciled: a small gray lock. You checked it against your bank's balance, and it's locked. See Reconcile an account .
- Needs Review: a gray dashed circle. The transaction came from a file, an Apple Pay payment, a bank message or a scheduled transaction. You haven't looked at it yet. See Review captured transactions .
A row that waits for review shows the dashed circle even when the bank already has it. After you review it, the cleared or uncleared mark appears.
Change a status
- Swipe a row to the right and tap Clear. On a cleared row, the same button reads Unclear.
- On a row that needs review, the swipe button reads Reviewed.
- On a reconciled row, it reads Reconciled and unlocks the row after you confirm. Or touch and hold the row and tap Unlock.
- On a scheduled row, it reads Post and adds the transaction today.
- For many rows at once, select them and tap Status. Choose Cleared, Uncleared or Mark Reviewed.
Reconciled rows don't need any more work. To keep the list short, open the account and tap → Hide Reconciled.
